I'd say that looks solemn enough, tbh. Super detailed armor like that is too much for me as is.

So since I haven't done a digital piece in a bit, I tried a newish process. It sacrificed detail, but I could probably try to get some in, if I did another attempt. I just didn't really know what the rest of his body is supposed to look like. I took Fable's advice and did their character (in post 4). I kinda forgot the hat was there >_>. The extreme angle faces are a (one of many) weakness of mine, and I think his chest isn't as pushed out as it should be with that pose.
