But no, let's go with your claim about the media being completely honest. They'd never, say, interview a diplomat's daughter who claimed to be a nurse who witnessed babies being killed in hospitals. Or any other nation where our foreign policy decimated the population while doing nothing to achieve our agenda (but North Korea will fall any day now!). But yeah, maybe the US government should attempt to get its pyrrhic victory so it can face a reckoning from US voters who'll shitcan everybody, choosing to elect nothing but political outsiders critical of US foreign policy.
