Just look at what Whoopi Goldberg saying Jewish people in world war II were just more white people so it wasn't really racism.

I'm surprised they even suspended her, but good on them. Though the ratings tanked while she was gone and now she's basically untouchable because the view will fail without her apparently.

That's not really what she was saying. Everyone thinks the Nazis were white supremacists and only targeted Jews, which isn't true. They actually killed move white people, Slavs, then Jews. They were supremacists not white supremacists. They thought the "Aryans" were the master race and the plan was to kill off everyone who were the most undesirable, including a huge chunk of white Europeans. Those that were left alive would be either slaves or second class citizens.

What she was saying is the Nazis ultimately planned to kill off everyone except their chosen people, regardless of what color their skin was, not that Jews don't matter. Was it something she should have said? Probably not considering any time anyone talks about the Holocaust not being 100% about the Nazis trying to exterminate the Jews then accusations of anti-semitism get thrown around.
