There's usually a reason, and it's difficult to tell if there will be a breakdown.

Thats whats fucked up tho. Most of the time there is a reason. But we also sometimes have cases where parents are simply being vindictive against each other with no regard for the children. And as long as we have those people constantly crying wolf itll be impossible to properly set the correct boundaries case by case.
