As someone who lived their teen years through the 90s, I can personally say it was pretty fucking amazing. It was all partying and getting laid. Nobody talking about politics, no boogeyman constantly being shoved down your throat by every form of media imaginable, and when someone wanted to act like an asshole they had to do it in person and face the consequences. --- Most people are other people.
