For as much shit as teen parents get, at least they're still relatively young when their kids mature. I remember working with someone who was in their 30s and their youngest kid out of two was graduating HS that year. I'm in my 30s and me and my fiancee are just now starting to try to have our 1st kid, meaning I'll be in my 50s when the oldest turns 18 and wife will be late 40s, provided we're able to conceive.

Of course we're much more able to financially support children at our age than a teen would, and we were able to enjoy our 20s without having the responsibility of being parents, so I'm not outright saying teens should strive to have kids, but at least there's some sort of silver lining. >_>
