You ever shop in the opposite gendered section?
Sure. Have for years for charity.

As a nurse I have worked in facilities with a large percentile of elderly who are not able to visit stores. Some either have to 100% rely on relatives (who might buy the wrong things) or they barely have any clothes in their closets at all. Simply washing the sex 1-2 sets of clothes can demolish them quickly in industrial washers/dryers healthcare facilities use. Staff error can also mangle or completely misplace garments too.

So I took it upon myself to occasionally go shopping for long term patients in need of more clothes. I get reimbursed by employers anyway. Most of the patients are not looking for high fashion; they just want another comfortable set to wear for hygiene and appointments. Nobody really wants to leave their rooms in embarrassing tatters or awkward hospital gowns. When I've noticed someone struggling with what little they had, I picked up comfortable sized packs of basic bitch Walmart brand t-shirts and pajama pants which are practically unisex. And the patients love it, they're so grateful just to have more clothes. Ambulatory residents are happy to get pants that stay up and their physical therapists appreciate it too.

Occasionally the women prefer something more feminine or need bras. I've got such a good ratio at picking out accurate sizes that comfortably fit for our disabled ladies, the social workers (who are usually women) often consult me before major purchases. They're typically working with government funds or the patients' direct accounts; the less returns the better. Although the irony of me having a good eye for bra fits for cranky old women has not been lost on them.
