Technically if you live in the United States, the lockdowns only started in March. And Nazis never left. We certainly had edgy sociopolitical views in 2005. @tonicpalin medical costs are about as expensive as USA even after "government subsidies". and after retirement the insurance corps pretty much block you from all medical insurance, so we can only rely on government stuff which only deduct like a maximum of a few thousand bucks a month, when it cost more than 3 million dollars (estimate from over a decade ago) to survive cancer. as for rent, well this is one of the most expensive cities in the SEA, with houses that can cost up to 5 million bucks... for a limited lease period. there's cheaper "commie block" options, but i don't qualify for any of them because i'm not married or anything like that.
