To be fair, the games take place after the novels anyway, and change a bunch of stuff already.

All they really need to do is let the player created their own character from one of the other Witcher schools (canon or made-up), a la Cyberpunk. Then all the fanboys will simultaneously orgasm because then they can play as themselves as sleep with all the ladies instead of having to watch Geralt do it.

Bonus points if they go for the social cred again and have it so you can still mix-and-match your voice set and genitals regardless of body type, so you can create your own blender-gender the way they gloated about for Cyberpunk (which never really panned out the way people hoped it would).
