I don't think this is extremely unlikely.

You were fairly universally townread besides a few people that decided to ruin your groove.

It wouldn't be uncharacteristic at all for a mafia member to buddy up to someone of that nature, especially once they've claimed they're unlynchable.

But I will give you that Sultan has been really towny at points in this game, and he's probably not someone I'll push on for some time now, just pointing out a few concerns is all.
