The thinking is that Chang wouldn't have claimed bodyguard on someone that scum targeted which Sbell did as scum. That sbell wouldn't have froze chris' vote if he wasn't town. Thus both are town.

I see now that is very flimsy thinking though and discounts scum being creative with the role.

Actually. Sbell targeting Chris if Chris were scum wouldn't have been a bad idea. And Chang could just be coincidental. But, if they planned that from the start, then why not?

That is probably TOO much tying each other together to have all 3 involved with one another though.

That said, I am drawing quite a lack of clear view on who is scum this game, so perhaps I am not thinking outside the box enough.

I'll think it over. But, my reads didn't appear to be very good day 1, if in the box is apt thinking. I do think my Chris is scum argument was good until the bodyguard, vote freeze stuff was thrown into it however.
