Also there are no true plot spoilers here but knowing how this mechanic worked broke the game for me so I'll hide it just incase
i kinda knew about this but i thought it was an intended mechanic....

Anyway the game is good but its so bullshit hard I grew to dislike it, if you're not min-maxing all your characters and picking optimal Gear/Abilities you're gonna end up suffering for it at some point. Save often, after Drezen the game difficulty picks up fast and it's not uncommon to stumble into an endgame boss that is unwinnable, I'm not exaggerating either, it's as simple as taking a left turn in a cave when you should have gone right. At one point I also got rule-loopholed by the game in the form of Greater Heroism's fear protection not applying to Dazzling Display(which fears you) fro some reason.
I think i'm mid to late act 2, checked out most of the things that don't instantly kill me, and i don't know if i'm supposed to stall for kingdom research progress or sally on to very hard fights

Nowadays people only like 5e and why would you play OLD GAMES, what are you some sort of GATEKEEPER for playing anything other than 5e.
do u got a PC game that does all the dice rolls n shit for me as expansive as WotR is using 5e's mechanics with a good enough engine
