Venting is a well-known and accepted coping method. It's at the route of most therapy. Talking about your problems helps relieve the psychological pressure of those problems.

That being said, it's probably a good idea to find a sympathetic and confidential place to vent rather than just vomiting forth all your innermost thoughts to a message board full of strangers, half of which will take every opportunity to tear you down just for existing so they can make themselves feel better.
