It's fair. A lot of people do see life as a competition. There's just no happiness in that for me. I'd be pretending to be somebody Im not. Even if I get sex out of it, that's short lived and at the end I didn't get it from being who I actually am. So, the feeling would be very fleeting. If I get it just because she thought I was funny or charming, that feeling is gonna be there for a long time after the short lived stuff is done and gone. I don't even want that factor there that might bring me to think I got it for a different reason, even if she tells me Im charming or funny. I don't want that doubt.

And I only say all this because it's worked in the past. So, I still see it as achievable. To a lesser extent, but still.
