At the end of the day, cleganebowl was earned, but executed in such an awful way (like most of S8) that it feels so much worse than it actually was.

No idea how you can try and say there was no desire by Sandor to kill his brother.

The fact that it ended in a badly filmed fight with a bunch of bad cgi in a burning castle that shouldn't have even been burning does not remove the fact that it was earned. It was just... awful. Like most plot points finished in the final few seasons.
