I come from a culture where arranged marriages are still a thing(though its been dying out) and generally people don't get married until they're at least 20. I think Westerners have a preconceived notion that arranged marriages means the guy and girl involved have zero choice in their pick of partner or that they're forced into it but thats generally not the case. A man or a woman can still reject a prospective bride/groom, the only thing is the individual's family searches for a potential partner, whereas in the West we obviously try to find our own partners. The child arranged marriages you're thinking of occurs in extremely rural parts of the world and really isnt indicative of the arranged marriage practices that happens in majority of the world. --- "Let's be honest...I'm everybody's type.
