Hell, look at the absolutely absurd number of hoops Depp needed to go through to even get this far, for basically no reward; it's not like he got his career back. And that's someone with his multimillionaire reaources.

In my opinion it's more about visibility, and changing perceptions around it.

Legally its probably not significant in any way.
Culturally this could make a big difference in a serious issue. Changing the mentality around reporting and responding to masculin victims.
