I'm immediately reminded of what killed Ritual of the Night for me so quickly more than anything else. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one that played the older Castlevania games. What's the best thing about Symphony of the Night and the NES and SNES Castlevanias that elevated it above something that was just really really fun and made it feel like this great emotional experience that said things that words could not? That's right, it was the fucking soundtrack! Meanwhile the one in the Bloodstained games feel completely phoned in. The kickstarter was a massive success, for the love of god, why couldn't they find and hire a good composer?
