Topic	it's insane to me how pokemon took off like it did

Granted, I am still pissed off about the bullshit "Donuts" Kid me wanted to try those things so bad but I didn't know what to tell my parents what they were I knew they weren't goddamn donuts. It's so weird to me when people refer to stuff like "onigiri = donuts" as censorship. It wasn't some conspiracy to keep American kids from learning about rice balls.
