I think regardless of who is guilty or not this trial and particularly the way it's covered and talked about is extremely harmful for actual abuse survivors. Just the other week we had people on here parroting various arguments about how she wasn't acting like a true victim is supposed to act... All while Depp is on there joking about trying to get Marilyn Manson to shut up. And apparently he's the victim here. And so on.

In the end this is a trial between two individuals and the only ones who actually know what transpired are those two. To me it looks very much like Depp is deliberately using this trial for PR, which 1) is working, and 2) is incredibly cynical. Yeah, the dogpiling on Amber Heard makes me really uncomfortable, and that's me already convinced that she's a bad person.
