There's also the problem that groups are more likely to embrace positive stereotypes than they are neutral or negative ones. Most black guys are going to tell you to fuck off if you tell them they're more likely to commit crimes or do drugs, but if you start talking about how all black dudes have huge dicks, most black guys are going to say "Oh, yeah, sure, that one's true".
