Given the brain rot in the US resulting in all these school shootings, it makes sense that the door is difficult to breach, as it was likely that way by design (to prevent an active shooter from breaking into a room). And in a way it still served it's function since he was barricaded in a single room and the death toll may have been higher without it (sad as it is to say). As for the cops, I can kinda see the logic in waiting for tactical teams to show up, but I don't think if I was in that position I could live with myself if I didn't do everything in my power to stop the shooter.

Then again, 95% of the gun fetish enjoying American public are prefectly fine with the status quo as long as it doesn't "infringe on their rights", so I guess we should just get used to seeing stories like this as they somehow become even more common than they already were.
