Ok, let me accept you being obviously hyperbolic. It's still a horrible argument. Why the hell would you pull back when your methods are working? That's gotta be the dumbest strategy anyone could think of.

They're just doing what works in current society. And that's getting up on people's faces so that they can't just avoid people in your community being mistrested. You also seem like you're only pulling from areas in the US that are pro. There's still many many ignorant places in US. You don't just leave the people there to figure it out themselves just because in your states or cities it's now where it should be. You continue to show them that there's places where it's not like those around you that reject your lifestyle. There's many gay people growing up in conservative households that really can use these reminders that not everyone is like their ignorant family
