That's the thing.

The law as interpreted before included land vertebrates, not invertebrates, but included aquatic animals regardless if they were invertebrates and vertebrates.

This ruling just allows for land invertebrates to be covered. Honesly I'm just surprised they needed a ruling on this as opposed to just telling bee killing companies to go fuck themselves.

But this is America, and companies will look for any and every loophole to make a buck, regardless of how much damage it does to the country...
