Preface: it was still an incredible wedding.

So last summer, my cousin got married to the daughter of some foreign diplomat. Drinks were flowing, every single table had their own bar with wines, rums, vodkas, champagnes, it was AWESOME. They brought every table their own platter of food.

I'm not that close to this side of the family, so I felt a bit awkward. Wasn't going out on the dance floor, but then I got liquored up and immediately felt like I was the life of the party. I was a machine.

My uncle (cousin's dad) had been hyping this wedding up to me for weeks. He said that it was some super crazy traditional wedding where it goes until 4AM and they bring out crazy foods all night long.

Except at midnight the entire bride's family just gets out and 30 minutes later the party is over! Total bullshit! I was ready to party all night!
