| pyresword 06/05/22 8:44:43 PM #74: | The Blue Reverberation Passing through the Forest Southern Twilight ~ Dance on the Cape of Good Hope Epic string-heavy boss theme(?) vs Frums. It doesn't get much easier than that. Passing Through the Forest is great throughout. Really pretty intro and I also like the...mandolin? part that comes in a bit later on. I can definitely appreciate what this second song is going for. The individual sounds can be a bit unpleasant but as a whole it's pretty catchy. Surprisingly good but probably not enough to vote here. Yggdrasil is generally pleasant but doesn't leave much of an impression. I think it's one of those songs where it's trying to be high-energy but the climaxes still feel restrained, and the song just comes across as a bit lukewarm as a result. Southern Twilight is elevator music but it is quite successful at being elevator music so I think it gets the vote here.
