pyresword 06/14/22 8:20:09 PM #59:	Tractatus Logico-philosophicus The Apex of the World (Rain) Unknown Pollution Faded Dream has some good instrumentation, but it's used in some bizarre ways I don't like--as if there's constantly one instrument trying to step on top of the other parts of the piece. Tractatus Logico-philosophicus is pretty cool. Love the way the weird synth sounds transition into a pretty bell/xylophone(?) melody towards the beginning I probably like Apex of the World less than I should. It's got pretty instrumentation and competent composition, but there's still something intangible missing from it for me that holds it back from greatness. The vibe I get from it is that someone sat down and tried to create a "sad song" but that they didn't actually have anything of their own to express. I don't know--that is such an arbitrary statement that it feels wrong to complain about it, but for better or for worse this is my experience with the song. After all that I'm still going to vote it though because Hustle and Bustle is very repetitive and doesn't really do much to interest me. I really like the instrumentation on #4 dunno, but it also doesn't feel like the song really goes anywhere when it should? I dunno. Not the biggest Unknown Pollution fan but it's fine. Not much else I want to say there.
