Mega Man 5 is a good game. I put it fairly close in quality to Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3. I'm basically series voting Mega Man in this contest, but that's because the really good ones got in.

Like Mega Man 1, 4, 6, they get my votes against a lot less.

But there are a few games that slip between MM2 and MM5. I vote SMB3 over Mega Man 5 for example, when I voted Mega Man 3 over it.

Castlevania 3 > Final Fantasy > Mega Man 3 > Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! > Ninja Gaiden > Mega Man 2 > SMB2 > SMB3 > River City Ransom > Mega Man 5 > The Field.

Mega Man 1, 4, 6, there would be a lot more of The Field in there actually. But yeah it's not quite a blind series vote is my point just that the three chosen are very good games to me.
