She was saying that however this pans out, she doesn't care about her own life, she just doesn't want to have the kids grow up without a mum, and she wants to know who they are as adults. I mean, it's pretty much my exact philosophy on the matter, but that's just in the abstract. To hear it in the potentially practical... yeah. Her general feelings she's expressed though have just been pragmatism and courage. It's moment like these, even moreso than usual that I realise how amazing my wife is. She can't have balls of steel, so ovaries of steel? I love my wife's ovaries of steel.
