It's a transparent and lazy attempt to deflect from the subject matter by people who don't want to talk about injustice in the US criminal justice system/police. Especially the racial component of it.

It doesn't work and the guys doing it aren't as clever as they think they are but they'll keep trying regardless.

The same users will now pop back in again and all attempt to deflect the topic with a different strategy. Do not fall for it.

Not to mention the hardship his mother probably endured without the support (emotional, physical and financial) of her son.
