I'm fine with either Kirby or Lea, honestly. But if Lea needs to be scum for Kirby to be scum... perhaps it's better we do Lea first?
Things that stick out to me from this in-game day on this reread:
- I don't like Lea's immediate vote like it's a foregone conclusion. Does she knows something I don't?
- Kirby did not unvote when Ulti called him "emotional town" while I actually listened. I only revoted once Kirby showed that he wanted a rushed mislynch. I asked Lea to unvote and was ignored. This makes me think at least one of Lea/Kirby is scum since the lynch was trending in a direction favorable to them. Scum does not benefit from extended discussion, right?
- Kirby seems to think 1) everything Ben said must be true as if Ben is perfect and 2) interactions are the only way to prove scum. Other scum could've distanced themselves from Plum and DYL when they took heat to avoid suspicion. Kirby corroborating Ben's misread on me feels scummy - he knows it's wrong and pushing that is the best way to get people on board, because Ben feels credible and was probably killed to get people to think he was right when he was wrong.
- Both Lea and Kirby seem to expect me to mention everyone at some point on D1/D2 when I'm overwhelmed and trying to keep track of who is who and who did what. I've shown numerous times that I'm legit bad at keeping track, because I'm very green. They're trying to exploit that.
- Kirby said Lea has to be scum if he is because Lea voted for me first. He may be admitting the truth thinking nobody would believe it. Bold play, but entirely possible. It could also be framing.
- The only person to not call Ulti out about the No Lynch was Lea. Scum doesn't want that additional time. Would a scum Lea shut this idea down even if other people already did by the time she read it? If she's scum, she's playing this "overcorrection from last game" masterfully.
- Sheep is saying even less than Lea, but what he's saying feels more thought-out and I don't know if that's a red flag or a green light. He voted for me, but he doesn't seem as frantic and desperate as Kirby, or as "I'm ready to be done with this" as Lea.
- Is scum at this stage supposed to be frantic like Kirby, apathetic like Lea, or rational like Sheep?
Honestly, what Kirby's saying doesn't feel beneficial for town. He's talking a lot but not saying much of substance. It may be that he's buying what Lea's selling. Lea is more level-headed, saying it's process of elimination, which I can understand because SBell is 100% cleared and Ulti has that scan. So since scum can't mislynch either of them, I'm the easiest prey left. That's what's "process of elimination" here. It's not for town. It's for scum.
