Like, lets be clear to KPs point - the UK is much better than the US on trans rights and racism, you just need to look at the numbers of the text of the law. HOWEVER, some people like to take that to mean that the UK has no problems with discrimination at all and it very much does. There is a lot of racism and a lot of transphobia in the UK. The US is just so bad, it offers cover. None of this is in praise of the UK, I got out of there years ago and have no desire to return. --- I just decided to change this sig.
