Out of curiosity, what's your impression of each Job, and which one do you like the most so far?
Fav definitely Ninja although probably biased since I was already going in 100% set on it, switching to Rogue asap. But I've absolutely enjoyed the Mudras setup and it's really not as complicated as I was fearing. The Ninjutsus are flashy but rather straight-forward on use so far. Of all classes so far it absolutely feels complete to its role, you are a Ninja with a nice arsenal and a good amount of time even between upkeep for Hutan/Suiton-Trick/Kassatsu, and you also gotta unique set for your AoEs sharing your mudras with Doton & Katon. I love tho a good strong Kassatsu-Raiton blast aww yeahhhh

Black Mage was my original character I got to 50 forever ago so I also hold it dearly. It's a cool cycle between Fire damage and Ice MP with the Thunder DoTs that then start proccing the random insta-casts which also then applies to the Fires so you gain a distinct idea for what each button's for.

I started Monk here and I like the form shifts, surprised at all the options level 50 brought me for each form, with a full de/buff rotation, aoe rotation, and single-target burst. Pretty quick to have to refresh de/buff phase though so it can feel busy. Also took me a longggg while to grasp the effectiveness of Chakras way up until 38 you finally get the % chance of gaining them during battle instead of just refeshing the full 5 out of battle.

Bard... I don't feel I really experience the Bard part of the job yet, just the archery. Which is still super straight forward, super safe, and it's fun out on the field just sticking on Heavy / Bind and running around sniping. The rest just put on your DoTs then keep wailing on 'em either single-target or AoE option standard, and fitting in the single or AoE option Bloodletters. Oh Barrage is a cool burst, I love turning on all my offensive buffs and watching a barrage of Straight Shots burn down the hp bar.

Dragoon ehhhhh rather just a straight-forward three skill combo with just the one deviation to put on Power Surge... you got the standard ranged spear chucking, then it's hard to really fathom how the line aoe compares to other jobs aoes. You got the Dragoon's Jump ability but it doesn't feel special or anything, just another offensive skill to push now and then.

Summoner I was worried about being complicated. It's unique, but it's actually pretty easy to understand and fun. Upgrade your carby, get your Aetherflow, and by the time you can even cycle through it all you'll probably be able to refresh, or will in just a few seconds. If there's an issue on it it's my OCD waiting to unload all the summon skills I got loaded before refreshing Aether/Arcanum I often feel I'm wasting, but at the same time I always feel I'm doing just what I need so it's fine. I do gotta detach my brain between Aether/Arcanum because I'll often have an Energy Drain ready to use but my brain is still in a "unload your summon skills" mode and I delay the unload & re-upping of Aetherflows.

Scholar... I can't say much on, I was levelling Summoner although I did accidentally duty up scholar not realizing I forgot to switch back and it turned out all fine. Looking back at my Scholar skill bar... yeah I don't really comprehend. Namely the between Adlo & Succor, the rest is just put on your heals/regens and buff your potency.

White Mage was a pretty simple time, I might've been too concerned on heal/regen upkeep just because you really don't wanna let your party down, but I don't really think I was too overbearing with it, especially with some tanks really not needing much more than putting on the regen. Being pretty familiar with the dungeons at that point probably helped but yeah I felt pretty at ease, I putting on my Aeros, and I really enjoyed getting Holy to add in with some aoes in downtime. I only had one experience where the tank when realllllllllly far ahead at the start of Qarn and I couldn't get up to help or even SwiftRaise before getting pretty wiped.

Paladin v Warrior I mean they are very much the same at the base level pull, single/aoe combo, lots of the same Role skill uses ala Rampart. Job gauge is really it where they differ, as Paladin unloads it for a few seconds of defence, while Warrior unloads it for some burst damage....... I much prefer the damage. Defensive skills ehh you stack more things on as you're in trouble but it doesn't always feel necessary, while burst damage is just always gratifying, especially lining up your combo to the finisher and sandwich it between two Inner Beasts all boosted with Berserk. Plus when you're AoEing you can just switch to the AoE job gauge ability, whereas Paladin ehhhh Cover seems too situational, maybe a quick "oh shit" button if someone else messes up.
