yup. One of my best friends is vegan so have tried a lot of new things because of that! Shizen sushi in San Francisco is amazing. I regularly cook tofu and tempeh or just have plant based meals in general. Cheaper too if you don't buy specialty stuff, and good for the environment (even considering transportion, still better than meat especially beef -- can look that up if anyone wants, there's a source, or you can Google it)

anyone who is looking to try tofu this is my favourite recipe (very indulgent with the butter -- and if you want plant based just use vegan butter, miyokos is my favourite but that can be expensive and since it's just a sauce probably doesn't matter too much)

lots of easy substitutes to do too in general. Plant based broths for beef or chicken. Just Mayo was great but they discontinued it T-T Beyond Burger is my go to now if I have the choice
