adjl 08/04/22 10:08:40 AM #6: | I haven't tried any of the "plant-based alternatives" that are growing in popularity, but I eat plenty of veggies and will sometimes use tofu or chickpeas as the protein component of a dish. By and large, I eat substantially less meat than is typical in the American (or Canadian) diet, generally not having more than ~4 oz per dinner. I still enjoy meat and tend to think of meal planning in terms of building them around whatever meat is on sale, but most of my diet is plant-based (also known as plain old eating healthily, before "plant-based" became a marketing buzzword). --- This is my signature.
