The low strings section at 3:37 is pretty cool in -[PROTEASE]-. This is still a significantly weaker song than most other 13 Sentinels battle themes. Mostly because the vocals kinda take away from the rest. They don't seem to fit with the synths and everything else. Misty Er'A is like a bootleg NieR song. I don't really like the childlike vocals towards the end of this one. But I think I might prefer the overall composition slightly more than Protease, so I'll go with this.

Suite Photoconductivity is mostly good with some parts that I dislike sprinkled here and there. I mentioned specific parts in my R1 writeup. The percussion after the drop in Tyrant is the most bothersome part, getting into pretty unpleasant frequencies. I do think I like it a bit better overall than I did on my first listen. If I were to rank the six Tunes, it'd be Iron Fossil > Guidance > Mist > Bolt and Sword > Haze > Tyrant, though I don't dislike any of them. End of the Summer is cute and pleasant, but it's nothing special. I don't have any complaints about it though. Gonna give this matchup to Suite, due to its ambition and doing a pretty good job on execution as well.

R2 went by fast. A ton of my favorites died this round, which is really sad, but at least I still have THEMEX for the time being. Hopefully it retires, and I'll be satisfied enough with the results of the contest.
