When those communities can support two communities as large as Melee and whatever the new Smash game is at once, they can talk about unfair.

Not many communities/fighters, let alone newer ones can compete with the kind melee has. Who is a unique bunch to say the least.

And EVO is the best opportunity for them to gain exposure, fans, and new players potentially. And a series like smash that doesn't and never has needed EVO, eating up up 2 valuable slots every year doesn't help the genre as a whole.

Its to fighters what SpongeBob was to nickelodeon, or Teen Titans Go to CNN.
