Topic	George RR Martin was kept out of the loop about later Game of Thrones seasons.

I wouldn't be surprised if GRRM is lying about his involvement from seasons 5 and onwards to keep interest in his next novel high. You remember very wrong. They had a falling out after season 4 because George disliked some changes they made, particularly removing Lady Stoneheart.
