Premise: Programmer Suzuki Ichirou dies from overwork and wakes up in a fantasy world based on the game hed been making. With access to incredible abilities, he sets out to explore this new world.

The Good: I liked some of the video game elements. It showed him futzing with menus and such. I also liked the pop-ups whenever he unlocked a new skill, they led to some fun jokes.

The Bad: This is one of those isekais with an overpowered protagonist who is good at everything and never struggles. He literally starts with cheat code powers and only gets stronger from there. He also gets a harem, mostly consisting of young girls who are literally his slaves. He never does anything to them but it all still felt uncomfortable. Everything else about this was just a typical video game isekai. Im not a huge fan of the genre, so it didnt appeal to me.

Overall: My favorite part of Death March was when the generic main dude casually banged a prostitute. Partly because it was the last thing I expected to see, most boring anime dudes cant even touch a girl without blushing themselves to death. Partly because there was a popup saying he unlocked an immunity to STDs skill. That was funny. The rest of this was mediocre.
