I never wanted to go to Cancun because beach resorts are really not my thing. My wife and mother in law are irritated at me because im just going through the motions on this vacation waiting for it to be over and its clear by my body language that im bored and dont want to be here.

They are also upset because im ruining it for the kids with my lack of enthusiasm and enjoyment. They told me im a jerk for not enjoying this vacation because they said Its not about you, its all about the kids. Apparently small kids can sense it if you dont wanna be there and you arent enjoying yourself?

I mean. why would I? Mexican beach resorts arent my thing and I never wanted to be here in the first place but they forced me to. Especially that were not even touring Cancun like I wanted to and were stuck in this stupid beach resort the whole trip till we finally go home.

Im sorry but this is not my type of vacation and you cant make me like this trip if theres nothing in it for me. The best anyone will get is me pretending to want to be there. If anyone wants me to enjoy this vacation, then maybe they should have thought about ways we can all enjoy it and not just the kids.
