UPDATE!

Surgery is now finished. Started at around 8:30 this morning. It is 4:40pm right now. Long day. But, there were no complications. They had an echocardiogram done and everything looks promising. Now he's officially a single ventricle person. They are gonna monitor him extra closely the next few days and probably keep him in the hospital for at least 4 weeks, to make sure he can start feeding well and gaining weight again.

We are feeling relieved. But it'll be a long road ahead. 1 surgery down, 2 more to go.

On another positive note that gave me hope, we met a 30 year old today that had the same heart condition and received all 3 surgeries as a kid. They were doing great and have had a relatively normal life. They were only coming in for their yearly cardiologist visit.
Hell Yeah!
