Tom & Jerry: I'm going to assume we mean the designs they settled on, and not the originals. They're fine designs, really, nothing more to say about it. Again, I know it was groundbreaking when it came out, but like with Loony Tunes, I think cartoon humor has progressed beyond this point? One thing I want to mention is those late 2000s/early 2010s crossovers where Tom & Jerry were in famous movies, and the Willy Wonka one, where the writers just forgot to include the scene where people sign a contract, so later Wonka pulls out the contract triumphantly and talks about it, and if you're a kid who hasn't seen the original, you'd be like what. I also enjoy how Multiversus made them and Bugs Bunny part of the mage class, since wacky cartoon physics can't be rationalized any other way. But yeah, like, no one out there is like "Tom & Jerry is my favorite thing ever."

SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron: I feel like this is one of the final TMNT knockoffs, right? Instead of teenage mutant ninja turtles, they're secret identity mechanic cops, and even their villain is another guy in a mask. But actually, what I want to focus on is the girl. Everyone else is clearly a humanoid cat, which is fine, but she looks basically exactly like a human, except with a cat nose. I'm just saying.

Hidamari Sketch: Is this a thing in Japan, high schools that specialize in something super specific? Because I remember Yusuke going to an art school in Persona 5, too, and this comes up every so often in anime stuff. I can't imagine a career less likely to work out than traditional artist, right?
