CE hates this last point but I'm an 11 year bartender in about seven bars/taverns/restaurants in my time. If you stiff, they will remember. I have seen literal countless forms of petty revenge on repeat patrons stiffing their staff. Some funny, some disgusting. And I can't even imagine what some of these stressed out inner city delivery drivers do if they get stiffed. Make sure your bag is sealed, I guess.
That's the best part of the restaurant and food service industry. There are so many different places to go to that it could be years and years before I go back to a place I "stiffed" on a tip (considering how the industry works most places have brand new staff after about a year). Why tip if I don't plan on going back?
