| Sackgurl 09/14/22 3:51:28 PM #56: | like even in the scenarios they think they see, conservatives completely miss the point when it comes to SNAP. if we didn't have it, we'd be paying just as much or more on police to respond to the crime impact that letting millions of people suffer inevitably causes like, stop for a second and ask yourself how we got SNAP. do you think some liberal put it on their agenda next to making the frogs gay and forced it through the second they got any kind of congressional majority (note: just because that's how the GOP passes policy doesn't mean it's how the left has implemented any of its social safety nets), or do you think moderate coalitions got tired of paying for a police state that brutalized people needlessly over hundreds of years and found a solution that was more optimal, with the health of the hundreds of thousands of statisticians who helped build pareto analyses showing that direct cash aid to the poor cost less than policing the consequences of their poverty? --- LittleBigPlanet is like merging dress-up with a real game. ...
