They're speaking to the realities of the situation they were presented. They don't have the capacity for the homeless in their normal means but they've been stepping up and helping them anyway they can. Not sure how you can spin this negatively against the townspeople. its weird. i thought simping for billionaires was more of a conservative thing, but i guess for you it really is just 100% (insert news source) talking points ...
