The complaints about SFVI's visuals stem from the characters being designed like anime characters but the graphics in the game are more realistic(Not just of higher detail) and don't suit some designs and some of the exaggerated SF animations and thus make them look either stiff or over done and / or odd in general. The new impact reaction animations are definitely one of the best things about the game as they make hits look more powerful and believeable. Anyway people are just going to have to get used to a more realistic looking SF game.

SFV's visual style while rather dated now was great as it was sort of anime with semi realistic visual details and the animations all looked great too. The proportions of characters, specifically hand and feet size, were a bit too much though, especially with some.

I like SFV's visuals and animations a little more, but when it comes to actual character hair, face and body design and proportions SFVI is better.
