I agree that him saying things like, "we need to be scrappy" and "pull through" etc is all bullshit. But he's exactly right that the macroeconomic conditions coming in the near future are going to be some of the worst since the financial crisis of 2008. The company has something like 125 billion in cash reserves....which will likely reduce significantly over the next few years. Would you rather keep this cash for true rainy day fund where the company is in serious trouble or would you rather make sure your employees still have their free massage therapists and cooking classes at all costs? ...
