Like, yes, the mask allows Peter to be much more confident and quippy than he ever is without it, but even without the mask, he should still show that kinda... Sarcastic ability, even if he doesn't act on it. Tobey comes off WAY too reserved to believe that, even with the mask, he can ever truly be Spiderman-esque.
