I figured when I saw the upcoming episode name "Pokemon! I'm glad to have met you!" like 2 days ago that there was a decent chance Ash would win today. Now I rechecked I guess it may actually be class 'Glad I chose you'. Article lists both.
I really think this is Ash's anime goodbye.
If it is, I really hope he ends up at the top of Mt. Silver with Pikachu, awaiting for his next challenger.
