Wed realized feelings were developing between each other, so we did what we thought was best and both recently broke it off with our respective previous partners. However, I feel really bad because we were trying to give it a bit more time before something started between us but just couldnt contain ourselves. I realize its unethical to be dating someone I am the boss of and was already looking for a new job because that was a boundary I didnt intend on crossing. I just feel awful. This morning I put in my two weeks notice and told my boss the truth, so hoping Im able to find a new job quickly. The person I made out with and I have agreed that we should hold off on anything more until Ive left the company at the very least
